INTRODUCTION
AMICET SYRUP is a combination of Ambroxol and Levocetirizine which belongs to the group of medicines called Mucolytics and Antihistamines respectively. It is used to provide symptomatic relief in allergic bronchitis and asthma associated allergic rhinitis in adults and children (aged 6 years and above).
Allergic bronchitis is a condition that occurs due to inflammation of the bronchial tubes by an allergic reaction which is generally characterized by symptoms such as cough, wheezing, chest tightness and weakness. Allergic asthma is a breathing condition where the airways tighten when an allergen is inhaled such as pollen and mold spores which is generally characterized by symptoms such as shortness of breath, coughing, wheezing and stuffy nose.
Avoid taking AMICET SYRUP, if you are allergic to Ambroxol, Levocetirizine or cetrizine or have end stage renal disease (kidney failure). Before taking AMICET SYRUP, inform your doctor if you have liver problems such as hepatic impairment.

HOW AMICET SYRUP WORKS
