Benzoyl Peroxide gets converted into benzoic acid which releases active free-radical oxygen. These free radicals interfere with important bacterial function and survival, hence killing them. It also increases the turnover rate of skin cells. Sulfur draws out oil from clogged pores and together they help in treating acne.
