INTRODUCTION
LORATIN 10MG contain loratadine which belongs to a group of medicine called antihistamines. It is used to relieve allergy symptoms such as runny and blocked nose, sneezing, watery eyes (e.g. in hay fever) and skin condition with pale or red irregular raised patches and severe itching (urticaria).
LORATIN 10MG works by blocking the effects of histamine, which may be overproduced in allergic reactions which causes unpleasant symptoms such as itchy or watery eyes, running or blocked nose, sneezing and skin rashes. The common side effects are drowsiness, headache, increased appetite, difficulty sleeping, nervousness, tiredness.
Always take LORATIN 10MG exactly as your doctor has told you. This medicine must be taken with or without food and try to take at the same time each day. It should be swallowed whole with water. It is strictly not recommended for use in children under 2 years. Before taking this medicine tell your doctor if you have ever had kidney disease, heart disease, liver problems. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking this medicine.

KIDNEY
LORATIN 10MG should be used with caution in patients suffering from active kidney diseases. Consult your doctor for advice.
LIVER
LORATIN 10MG should be used with caution in patients suffering from liver function impairment or active liver diseases. Consult your doctor for advice.
ALLERGY
Do not take LORATIN 10MG if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to loratadine or any other ingredients in this medicine.
