INTRODUCTION

FINGUS CREAM contains Terbinafine which belongs to the group of medicines called Antifungal agents. It is used topically to treat fungal skin infections.

FINGUS CREAM is for external use only. Take the required quantity of the medicine and apply on the affected skin areas. Use FINGUS CREAM for the stipulated duration instructed by your physician to achieve better results. Failing to do so may not result in adequate infection control. Also, inform your doctor if you don’t see any improvement in your condition after 2 weeks of therapy.

Do not use FINGUS CREAM if you are allergic to terbinafine. It is not suitable for use in children aged below 18 years. Consult your doctor before using FINGUS CREAM if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The most common side effects of using FINGUS CREAM are skin peeling, itching, skin color changes and burning sensation at the side effects. These side effects are usually harmless. However, consult your doctor if they trouble you.

HOW FINGUS CREAM WORKS

FINGUS CREAM is an antifungal medication. It effectively controls fungal infections within the body. It disrupts the fungal cell membrane by blocking the production of certain chemicals (ergosterol) within the cell which is required for its survival. As a result, it stops the fungal cell from multiplication, thereby preventing the further spread of infection.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

FINGUS CREAM is for external use only. Take the required quantity of the medicine and apply on the affected skin areas.

Avoid contact of this medicine with your face, eyes, ears, nose or any other mucous membranes. Wash your hands before and after application.

Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending upon your age, body weight and severity of the infection. Do not stop using FINGUS CREAM without consulting your doctor.

HOW TO MANAGE SIDE EFFECTS

Application Site Reactions:

Place an icepack on the affected skin areas to ease the irritation. Avoid using harsh chemicals or soaps on the affected areas. Wear protective loose-fitting clothes while going outdoors. Regularly moisturize your skin. Avoid exposing your skin towards direct sunlight. If the condition did not improve, contact your doctor.

FINGUS CREAM is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless recommended by your physician. Therefore, consult your doctor before using it.

BREASTFEEDING

FINGUS CREAM is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless recommended by your physician. Therefore, consult your doctor before using it.

DRIVING AND USING MACHINES

FINGUS CREAM is unlikely to affect your ability for driving or handling any heavy tools or machines.

ALLERGY

Do not use FINGUS CREAM if you are allergic to Terbinafine.

FINGUS CREAM is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (aged below 18 years). Therefore, consult your doctor before application.

Overdosage:

If you or anyone else accidentally swallowed FINGUS CREAM, consult your doctor for advice or visit the nearby hospital. Signs of accidental ingestion might include headache, nausea, dizziness and stomach pain.
