INTRODUCTION

EBERMAC 1% contains Eberconazole which belongs to a group of medicines called Anti-fungal agents. It is used to treat fungal skin infections such as infections of the fingernails and toenails. This medicine stops the growth of fungus in infections. Fungal skin infections are common and usually caused by excess moisture in the skin folds. It can affect any part of the body which is presented with symptoms like redness of the skin, irritation and itching.

Eberconazole is an imidazole derivative with antifungal activity for the skin treatment of dermatophytoses. It inhibits the synthesis of ergosterol, a fundamental component of the cytoplasmic membrane and alters its structure and function which is an essential component for the growth of the fungus.

Always use this EBERMAC 1%, exactly as prescribed by your doctor. For external use only. Before using this medicine, tell your doctor, if you have or had any skin infections, pregnant women or   breastfeeding mothers. The common side effects are skin irritation, burning and redness. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of accidental contact, rinse the eyes thoroughly with running water.

HOW EBERMAC 1% WORKS

EBERMAC 1% acts by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, fundamental component of the cytoplasmic membrane and alters its structure and function which is an essential component for the growth of the fungus. It works by killing the fungus and is active against virtually all fungus and prevents the growth of fungus.

Use this EBERMAC 1% as prescribed by your doctor. It is for external use only. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the medicine. Check the label for directions before use.
